The founder of the church in Jodłownik larch in 1585 was the owner of the village - Przeclaw Niewiarowski. After his death, according to his testament, taking care of the property and the church took over the Dominican convent in Krakow. Under the control of the church was the law until the late 70's the eighteenth century, that is, until the confiscation of the goods of the Order by the Austrian Government.
