This gorge, which in Turkish is referred to as "Cehennem Deresi Kanyonu" is an exceptionally impressive gorge near the upper end of the future Deriner Reservoir and in the vicinity of the City of Ardanuç. Access to it is through a very narrow passage where boulders having fallen down from above hang above one's head being squeezed in between the vertical rock faces. Further up the canyon opens a little only toe become again so narrow that one almost lo longer can see the sky. Its shear beauty is simply overwhelming.
