Las Lajas Sanctuary is a religious monument built in XVIIIth century, gothic architecture inspired, over a stone where, according to the legend, Holy Mary appeared, becoming a catholic icon. The Sactuary is located in the base of two mountains in southern Colombia, in Ipiales municipality.
