Burnt Lake with Mt. Hood in the distance - Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon
Mount Hood

Burnt Lake is a beautiful six-acre lake located on the Mt. Hood National Forest on the west side of Mt. Hood. According to sources, Burnt Lake got its name from a fire that burned through the area back in 1904. Since then there have been other fires including the “Clear Creek Fire” that burned through the area back in August 1906. Photo was taken with an Insta360 One RS on June 6, 2024.
