On china peak this is the highest point at 8600 feet, the peak houses a forest department & a wireless repeater station which is solar powered with backup batteries. The wireless operator also runs a small resturant offering tea/water & maggie noodals to the treckers.

The bright sun with amazing blue sky offers a panoramic view of the himalayas. THe direct sun temp was 22°C & the shade temp was 7° with bone chilling light breeze.
