Situated between Marseille and Cassis Les Calanques is one of the most beautiful parts of the French Mediterranean coast. No hotels, no holiday resorts spoil the few kilometers of white rocks plunging directly into the blue sea. The hiking trails sometimes have passages which somewhere else would qualify as rock climbing and the rock climbs are exceptional.
