Floral display at the Spalding Flower Festival at Spalding in Lincolnshire during spring 2011. A tribute to the Spitfire in full camouflage many of which were stationed at airfields around Lincolnshire. I was stationed at one mysdelf but long after the last Spitfire took-off from its runway to be relaced by deHavilland Vampire jet fighters. (And that was a long time ago too).

The main reason for the yearly Spalding Flower Festival is to celebrate the daffodil season.
