On the south side, you can see where Yellow Rock gets its name and its reputation for psychedelic colors and patterns. In the distance (to the right/north) we can see the Vermillion cliffs that run east/west from Kanab. Note the bleached streak of white that swirls at our feet and down the face of the dune.
