Fort, Bhangarh, Rajasthan, India
India

The ancient city of Bhangarh was founded in the late 16 century by Raja Bhagwant Das, the younger brother of the King of Amer/Jaipur. Later Bhangarh became the capital of Raja Madho Singhji. A Minister or "Diwaan" in the court of the Mugal emperor Akbar. Bhangarh is refered to as the Ghost Town, n there are various "conspiracy theories" about, why the city was abandoned.

Curiously the ruins of various buildings and palaces, look like they have been "cut with a knife/sword" almost through the middle. The clear cut is quite striking, but pretty basic to explain, that most of the buildings were built using the same style and material, n the upper parts of the walls, we're made of lighter and less durable materials!
