Die Bayerische Staatsbibliothek wurde 2008 bereits 450 Jahre alt. In ihrem Bestand finden sich ca. 9 Millionen Bände. Aus Anlass des 450 jährigen Bestehens wurde ein Tag der Offenen Tür veranstaltet, der zahlreiche interessierte Besucher anlockte.
