Source Pava of the Balsa..

Built in 1874, it is located in the Plaza de España or "Glorieta", in the heart of Águilas, where there are the Town Hall and the Church of San José (19th century), as well as many cafés and ice cream parlors with terraces. It is a square square square, in whose center is the fountain; A garden area is crossed by four streets, two perpendicular to the sides of the square, and the other two are the diagonals of the garden square, at the intersection of which is the fountain, with the sculpture that gives it its name: "Pava de la Balsa".
