臺中監獄舊典獄長官邸 : Ex-Residence of Warden of Taichung Jail (Taiwan)~這座舊宿舍佔地兩百多坪，建於日治明治末期到大正年間的官邸～橫跨日治與台灣光復兩個時期，最早是日治刑務所司獄長官邸，傳統的日式建築，及完整的宿舍聚落群。這歷史建物原本是作為「台中刑務所司獄長」的房舍，光復後則是作為歷任典獄長宿舍～老磚牆、老樹，日式的庭園風格，充滿著日本時代的懷舊風。不過具現場官方單位告知才知道～因為曾經被整建過，因此無法列入古蹟保存~相當可惜～
