绩溪县三雕博物馆,古徽州的绩溪古建筑繁多，尤其是宗祠，全县拥有一百七十多座，但由于长年的破旧失修，加上文革浩劫，古建筑受到严重破坏。坐落在县城西部的周氏宗祠因文革期间住着公安干警，一些构件中有少许损坏，但仍为绩溪县城至今保存较为完整的一座。上级文物部门，当地政府及重视和关心文物的有识之士为了抢救徽派建筑遗产，于上个世纪九十年代初以省重点文物保护单位周氏宗祠为依托筹建了以砖雕、木雕、石雕为主体的“绩溪县三雕博物馆”。1996年正式对外开放。本馆的馆址周氏宗祠，始建于明代嘉靖年间，距今已有450年，修缮于清乾隆三十四年至四十一年，建筑面积为1500平方米。整座宗祠由影壁、门楼、廊庑、庭院、享堂及奉先楼六大部分组成，呈外朴内华状态。外表白灰马头墙，开砖小青瓦，内则雕梁画栋，玲珑剔透，尤其是祠中的石雕艺术构件尤为珍贵，享有石雕艺术厅之美称，有极高的艺术观赏价值。
