U.S. Highway 89 takes a dramatic turn up, cut into a steep cliff just west of Page, Arizona. The roadside turnout gives one of the few views of the entire House Rock Valley, with the Marble Canyon gorge visible as a crack in the center of the valley. This entire area is part of the huge Navajo Indian Reservation, known as the Navajo Nation.
