A genuine "Bornholm harbour", i.e., it was blasted out of the rocks, and the resulting chunks of granite were used to construct the solid harbour structures and surfaces.
The harbour is in the centre of Allinge surrounded by a charming village milieu with many shops and restaurants right on the quay and a pavement café atmosphere all the way down the waterfront, peaking during the summer jazz festival.
