This is the view from the southernmost peak of the Tongue Range, which overlooks Lake George in the Adirondacks. Though the peak and much of the trail heading to Montcalm Point offer interesting views of Northwest Bay and the Narrows reach of Lake George, the trail is only lightly used; from the Clay Meadows parking lot, this point is just over 7 miles away and was vacant on Labor Day weekend.
