Stopping by Verdi for a quick break on the way to Pyramid Lake. We found a nice little park with river access to get our feet wet and enjoy a warm afternoon. The park abuts land that used to occupy a posh resort in the 1920s. The resort is long gone and the ambiance has become rather more bucolic, except for the houses abutting the river on the other site.
