Looking at Lake Anna in the Trinity Alps Wilderness west of Trinity Center, California.  Part of the Red Trinities, this hanging lake sits high up in a shelf & is dammed by glacial-striated roche moutonnées.  A faint trail crosses the small snow-dusted pass allowing one to access nearby Billy-Be-Damn Lake.  The wind was ferocious here but had disappeared on my return to the area a few hours later.
