The Basilica of Saint Eustorgio is one of the most important churches in Milan. The main body was built in 13th century over a previous church founded by St Eustorgio in 4th century to house the relics of the Magi. The Basilica has an asymmetrical three-nave plant with several beautiful chapels with bas-relieves, frescoes and sarcophagi. In particular Cappella Portinari is considered the most beautiful Renaissance monument in Milan. The 360 photo shows a general view of the Basilica from the central nave.
Italy’s and perhaps the world’s capital of fashion and design, Milano is home to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, which is possibly the world’s oldest shopping mall. The city is currently undergoing an architectural renaissance, which will culminate in a new skyline for the Expo 2015, which will be hosted in Milano. Visitors can take advantage of an extensive public transportation system, which includes metro, buses, trolleys and trams.
