On the 29th December 2010 a thunder storm hit the Sinai peninsula resulting in a 15-hour power cut and some flooding. The following day we took this panorama by the El Fanar memorial looking out to Tiran Island with some spectacular clouds still moving across the Red Sea - a truly rare sight to see!
