Haraldskaer is an old manor house. The main building dates back to 1536. The buildings has been burnt down and rebuilt several times. In 1969, Haraldskær was bought by the Danish Confederation of Housing Associations, which spent a lot of time and money on restoring the buildings, making it the modern conference centre it is today beautifully renovated with respect for the original style and ambience of the building.
