Railway Underground Project
Kaohsiung

Over a hundred years ago, trains that symbolized modernization galloped across the plains in wWestern Taiwan. Kaohsiung City and the Port of Kaohsiung, thus, became the important hub for import and export trade. Train stations and railways have facilitated the transportation to other areas, but the railways also divided the City into two parts. Although there are over a dozen overpasses and underground passages to connect the two sides of the City, two different living styles have already formed. Thus, to accomplish the Railway Underground Project would help improve the unbalanced development of the two areas.
