An keinem anderen Ort kommt man über öffentliche Straßen näher an die Containerschiffe an ihren Liegeplätzen heran als hier. Aus nächster Distanz lassen sich Hafenmanöver, das Arbeiten der Containerkräne und das Treiben auf dem Terminal beobachten.
Auf der rechten Seite des Waltershofer Hafens befindet sich das HHLA Container Terminal Burchardkai, auf der linken das Eurogate Containerterminal.
At no other place one approaches over public streets closer the container ships in her moorings than here. From the next distance harbour manoeuvres, the work of the container cranes and the activity on the terminal can be observed.
