As many other churches i Denmark, Ebeltoft Church have been hiding some frescoes since they where painted over. But now some of the decoration have been restored. Like the two angel figures near the window to the north and the bird on the cieling. The present Altar got its appearence in 1963 but some of the pices are much older. The centerpiece, a reilef displaying the cruxifiction carved  in wood, is a remnant of a much larger altar from 1500.
