At the bottom of the garden of this house in via di Mercurio you can admire a large fountain decorated with polychrome mosaics and glass pastes. Shellfish shells are used to mark the profiles of the nymphaeum, while two theatrical masks, embedded at the base of the jambs, close the original decoration.

From the center of the apse, the water gushed out which, falling on a marble ladder, created a unique game before ending up in a tank. Here was a beautiful bronze statue (now in copy) of a Bacchus and Venus'> Amorino bearing a dolphin on its shoulders.

Entering the next house, known as the House of the Small Fountain, you can admire another fountain at the end of the garden - between large landscape paintings - decorated like the previous one, in which the water flows from a marble mask of Silenus.
