The covered bridge over the  Gatineau River, Wakefield. The bridge was built in 1915. It was destroyed by a fire in 1984. A new bridge was completed in 1998. It is only open to pedestrians. Bridges similar to this, were constructed to keep snow off the road surface during the winter.
