This is a view from the rim of Viti, a small lake near the huge Oskjuvatn crater, next to the camping of Askja.

You go there by driving one one of the most beautiful tracks and desertic landscape I ever saw.

Whatever the weather, make sure you go and swim in the white, warm and bubbling waters of Viti, since this is a unique experience. Oskjuvatn is cold, but you cannot mismatch them!

It was a bit late for a better picture, though we got patches of this typical Icelandic amazing light cruising through the landscape. Outstanding place!
