6米，基座高3.68米，重7吨，为青铜铸造，塑像的造型为小平同志身穿风衣，面朝南方，大步向前，目视着改革开放后日新月异、蒸蒸日上的深圳特区，眺望着一河之隔的香港。
小平雕像落成之时，正是庆祝建立深圳经济特区20周年之际。20年来，中国的经济特区从出生到成长壮大，已走上腾飞之路。
