Road to the Bird River track in the western wilderness of Tasmania, Australia. Part of the Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National park. About 40 Minutes south of Queenstown. The Bird River track leads to the abandoned ghost town of East Pillinger, setup by the North Mt Lyell mining company as a rival port town competing with Strahan to take ore from the rich Mt Lyell copper deposits in Queenstown.
